I’m a Master of Science student in Animal Science (Nutrition and Metabolism) at the University of Guelph, supervised by Dr. Wendy Pearson. My research focuses on amino acid metabolism in horses, particularly the roles of threonine and lysine in supporting muscle maintenance and performance.

I completed my Bachelor of Science in Animal Biology with a Minor in Business, also at the University of Guelph, where I gained hands-on experience in poultry welfare, aquaculture feed efficiency, and companion animal nutrition. My academic and research experiences have strengthened my understanding of nutrient metabolism, animal welfare, and the importance of evidence-based approaches to feeding.

My long-term goal is to build a career in animal nutrition research and product innovation, bridging scientific discovery with practical applications in animal health and industry. Outside of my studies, I enjoy walking, playing tennis, and spending time with my cats.
