Genomics research makes Journal of Dairy Science Top 100 list

A study by researchers from the Centre for Genetic Improvement of Livestock (CGIL), a Centre of Excellence within Animal Biosciences, has been recognized as one of the most highly cited papers published in the Journal of Dairy Science over the past three years.

Study recruitment with free pork chops for your beginning of semester BBQ!

We are recruiting U of G employees and students as participants for an in-home consumer evaluation of pork chops from pigs that differ in carcass fatness. Participants will be provided with a bag of pork chops that they will receive once they have submitted a signed consent form.

ABSc is pleased to welcome our new Account Clerk in the main office, Karine Semina. Karine has a certificate in Finance and Accounting from MIT and Conestoga College. Previously, she has worked in accounting & financial roles at the Bank of America Securities in Boston and MIT.

O-Week Volunteers Needed!

Are you interested in helping new students with their transition to campus? We are looking for Academic Community Builders!. ACB OVs are in charge of facilitating the University 100 series of O-Week events, along with facilitating some O-Week events held by college governments and JAM sessions. ACB teams will be split up by college as much as possible to make this process as simple as possible.
