CGIL Seminar: "Supertools for superbugs: Using genomics to study drug-resistant Salmonella in Canadian poultry production"
Benjamin Hetman, M.Sc.; a Ph.D. student in the Department of Population Medicine at the Ontario Veterinary College, will present a CGIL Seminar on Friday, October 19th. The seminar will begin at 1:30 pm in room 141 of the Animal Science & Nutrition building.
CGIL Seminar: "How can genomics help UK dairy farmers to breed a better herd?"
Dr. Neil Eastham, DVM, a reproductive veterinarian and Nuffield Farming Scholar from the United Kingdom, will present a special CGIL Seminar on Tuesday, October 16th. The seminar will begin at 2:30 pm in room 141 of the Animal Science & Nutrition building.

CGIL Seminar: "Therapeutic potential and thermotolerance: Important traits in cattle breeds"
Dr. Ankita Sharma, a CGIL post-doctoral fellow, will present a CGIL Seminar on Friday, October 12th. The seminar will begin at 1:30 pm in room 141 of the Animal Science & Nutrition building.

CGIL Seminar: Stress, cells and immunoglobulins: identifying sheep with immunity to nematode parasites
Emma Borkowski, DVM; a Ph.D. student in the Department of Pathobiology at the Ontario Veterinary College, will present a CGIL Seminar on Friday, October 5th. The seminar will begin at 1:30 pm in room 141 of the Animal Science & Nutrition building. The title of her presentation is: "Stress, cells, and immunoglobulins: identifying sheep with immunity to nematode parasites".
Library - Research Data Management Services
This session will provide an overview of current policies and initiatives related to open access and research data management. We will discuss the potential impacts of these policies on research projects and outline local and national initiatives in place to provide services and supports to researchers.
